Великолепная подборка из 180 песен. Не знаю кому как, а мне как бальзам на душу. Британский рок мне ближе чем американский, наверное потому что на Британщине не было Джаза и основы его не джазовые.
Выпущено всё это великолепие на Дорогой фирме Rhino (Рино) аж в 1991 году. В подборку входят такие Супер-Исполнители как The Zombies, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Searchers, Swinging Blue Jeans, The Kinks, Freddie & The Dreamers. Freddie & The Dreamers - на видео - это не только музыка, но и гениальное Шоу. Советую где-нибудь достать и посмотреть ежегодную церемонию вручения наград New Musical Express 1964 года. К сожалению лидер группы Freddie Garrity ушёл из жизни в 2006 году. Ему и в 60-е уже было около 30 лет. Zombies - к сожалению за время своего существования (что-то около 5 лет) выпустили всего два полноценных альбома. Но и двух хватило чтобы войти в историю Классики Рока. Конечно Rod Argent продолжил своё творчество в музыке, но это уже другая история.
Ради любопытства лучше не качать. Музыка адресована в первую очередь истиинным меломанам, и в частности любителям Рока 60-х (с большой буквы).
